As a blogger I’m approached daily by brands and businesses. In fact the majority of my blog e-mail consists of PR & Media companies contacting me asking for collaboration.
You may have noticed that there have been a handful of sponsored posts over the last few months. ‘Handful’ being the point. I only ever give airtime to things I truly believe in. Occasionally I am reimbursed for the time taken to write, edit and publish a blog post – it’s nice when I do get compensated, but rest assured I’d be comfortable writing the post even if I didn’t.
Yesterday I was feeling productive and decided to spend 15 minutes clearing some old e-mails that had the potential to be defined as ‘not of interest’. Coffee in one hand and finger hovering over the delete button, I set to work.
What I found (while methodically clicking away) was a gem. Buried under the mass of unsolicited and non-relevant approaches there was an e-mail from Thomas Fletcher.
Here he is talking about Rejuce:
Immediately I replied, apologising for my lack of acknowledgement (I was 3 months late in responding), and asked permission to introduce you all to Rejuce.
It is, after all – Food Waste Friday. Rejuce are most definitely doing their bit to reduce Food Waste.
Please take some time to watch the 2 videos, and maybe click through to Rejuce’s about page also.
If you are committed to reducing food waste yourself, then I guarantee what you find will lift your spirits. It did mine. The videos are nice and short and the website simple and to the point.
Please let me know what you think? And of course this isn’t a sponsored post – I just wanted to give Rejuce a shout out.
**You can also show your support for Rejuce on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram**
