Do you Love Food Hate Waste?
Yes of course you do, that’s why you are here. It’s Friday Guys, Food Waste Friday.
Today I’m giving the Love Food Hate Waste campaign a shout out.
Yesterday I published a post in support of their Meaty Issues campaign.
Did you see my Leftover Chicken & Crispy Bacon Salad recipe?
Hand on heart it’s good. Maybe I should show more humility than that when it’s my creation, but no, it needs saying. It’s good. Try it. Please. Honestly with so few ingredients it tastes A-Mazing. If you like sweet and salty, hot and cold dishes (like I do) then this will hit the spot.
This isn’t the first time I have highlighted the Love Food Hate Waste campaign here at my blog. Over the last 5 years (plus) of blogging about reducing food waste I have frequently linked back to their statistics and website. Yesterday’s post was the first sponsored post I have ever written for them.
So you know I’m doing it for the love not the money Guys 🙂
(but you know that anyway)
Continuing with the love theme – I would love for you to click-through and take a look at their Meaty Issues campaign. Because I was paid to support? No. Because I truly believe there’ll be some top tips to help reduce food waste. After all that’s what Friday’s are all about – reducing food waste.
Also would you love to win a slow cooker? I’d enter but I already have 4, and am thinking that’s enough for anyone (although 1 does live in the caravan for when we are away from home – so technically that’d be 3 I have to use at any one time at home).
I love slow cooking – again no revelation there, I’ve been rather vocal about my adoration of the crockpot. And as a mechanism to reduce food waste it’s second to none – pretty much any potentially ‘going to waste’ vegetables can easily be whipped up into a fabulous soup with minimal effort or fuss. And don’t forget to pop your leftover meat in also!
Let’s keep the love flowing – how about a little link love?

Finally it wouldn’t be Food Waste Friday without sharing a photo of my Friday fridge – it’ll be over on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter a little later today.
Don’t forget to share yours! And tag me so I see it 🙂
