Hi Guys, it’s Friday. Food Waste Friday.
It’s not a full post today – I’ve been temporarily indisposed – normal service resumes at the blog Monday.
But regardless of my circumstances it’s still Food Waste Friday.
Do you do Food Waste Friday?
If you do, I would love to learn more on how you do it.
I have my No Waste Tastes Great routine, but there’s always room for improvement.
To help spread the word about Food Waste Friday, and share valuable information on how to reduce food waste I’m offering other Food Waste Friday participants the opportunity to guest post here.
If you’d like to contribute then do contact me for further information. It will start in the New Year.
A quick round-up of my fails and saves:
Food Waste = Some figs that have grown mould. Not good. And my fault. No photo as mould is not pleasant.
(I did use half of the figs up with this recipe – it tastes great, the pumpkin worked really well)
Saves = I’m hoping to rustle up a slow cooked soup with the squash I purchased as decoration for Halloween! Photo of the squashes, as they are really lovely!
How is your Food Waste Friday looking?

I’d love to guest post! Although my routine isn’t too great these days with two small kiddos in the house.
We didn’t do great this week.
Awesome idea to turn your pumpkins into soup. I forgot to mention in last week’s post that ours rotted. It’s so disgustingly hot here!

My routine has slipped over the last month but I am back into it today. Being proactive too. I’ve just discovered this great community group called Social Pantry that helps people share their excess food with people in need – if you are interested you can read it about it here http://moretimethanmoney.co.nz/2015/11/06/a-social-way-to-reduce-food-waste/
