A little more Monday morning motivation.
This is getting a bit of theme, isn’t it?
Last week I was talking death.
This week, Monty Python.
I love “The Life Of Brian”.
The Life Of Brian, is probably best known for the song ‘Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life’.
A rather dark, but funny, scene at the end of the film.
“When you’re chewing on life’s gristle,
Don’t grumble, give a whistle,
And this’ll help things turn out for the best”
We all know that being negative doesn’t help. It doesn’t make a bad situation come good. It just makes the whole journey a lot more difficult. And a lot more difficult for those around you.
None of us knows what is around the corner.
Facing it with positivity, and in some cases humour, may make it a little more bearable.
At this point I’ll hand you over to Charlie Chaplin, and wish you all a wonderful week filled with hope, love and laughter.
“Life is a tragedy when seen in close-up, but a comedy in long-shot.” ― Charles Chaplin
