One of my favourite memories from 2014 was stumbling across Tissington Village in Derbyshire.
In particular finding Edward & Vintage Sweet Shop, in the picture perfect English village.
Parking my bike ‘Mary’ outside I knew we were in for a treat as we headed inside.
And I was right.
When I decided to play ‘What’s In The Box’ the first thing that came to mind was the ration book that Edward & Vintage offer.
And David, the owner was happy to oblige. In fact he chose the person to receive the ration book.
It’s Sharron! David loved her comment, and hopes that maybe the ration book will prompt a conversation with her Uncle, or perhaps the sweets will bring back the ‘child’ in her children.
Congratulations Sharron!
But in digging a little deeper, I found something buried at the bottom of the box. I won’t say what, but Susan please can you e-mail me your address please. What I found will be headed your way.
Oh and p.s it’s Open House today – please tell me what you’re all up to. I so enjoyed reading your comments this week – it is helping to chase the blues away!
And should you ever have the pleasure of visisting Edward & Vintage yourself, don’t forget to stop and say ‘Hello’ to this charming lady…
