It’s Friday Guys – time for No Waste Tastes Great
(I’m under pressure today, I’m typing this whilst keeping an eye on 2 other sites that are about to sell much coveted Gary Barlow tickets)

Ready to be restocked, me thinks…
There’s a new addition to No Waste Tastes Great this week.
My airing cupboard.
The tomato season recently came to an end and my Mom decluttered her tomato plants. I’m pleased to announce the fruits of her labour headed my way.
Apparently it’s been a difficult year for tomatoes (and other produce, I’ve heard). The summer has been very wet and not very warm. So I took receipt of some still very green tomatoes.
After a stint in the airing cupboard they are now red – hurrah.
But there were some casualties…
Oh dear…yet another food waste confession…
However the survivors can now be slow-cooked. I promised a soup recipe each week, and this is it…

I can also make a start on my slow-cooked Christmas chutney. This has been delayed slightly as I patiently waited for the tomatoes to ripen. I’ll share more on this, and some of my other Christmas plans, from next week.
Anyhow as my dear Mom would say;
‘The time’s getting on…’
It sure is and I have tickets to fight for in cyber space and a Disney Princess birthday cake to decorate asap! It’s not looking that magical at the moment…
(p.s: I got the tickets…how, I’m not sure…lady luck on my side today…)
How’s your Fridge looking this Friday? Anything to declare? Or is it nice and bare? Please share…
No Waste Tastes Great is bought to you (as always) with thanks to The Frugal Girl for the original inspiration.
Don’t forget I update most days on Facebook.
Why not head on over and join the conversation?
