I just want to say that if you published an e-book featuring your slow cooker recipes I’d definitely buy it. Just saying (as if you’re not busy enough, right?). Happy Sunday!

Looking forward to the soup recipe; my husband loves soup year round, in Hawaii no less! Glad you had a great Birthday, hectic of course but we all understand! And I agree in your spare time a cook book with the recipes you use consistently would sell! 🙂

Gena – I am so sorry I am so pants! The soup recipe will go up tomorrow – I wanted Marianne to have at least three days with her post as the home page. I’m still working my way round my blog and the functionality seems limited. I may have to change to another theme which allows you to select the home page rather than the most recent post. I am going to post the recipes over here rather than the new blog. I had a bit of a think and the bulk of my search engine traffic comes from recipes and food posts. I do not really want to split my readers out. My gut feeling is that I am a food writer (writer in the loosest sense of the word – just as a hobby). That’s where I believe I can add value to the community. All the other areas of life simplification I am myself working through one step at a time and would benefit more from reading blogs than writing my own posts – apart from the occasional random post of course! Try and shut me up! 🙂 have a beautiful day 🙂

Welcome to SimplyBeingMum – one mother’s personal website documenting the journey toward a family life simply done. Here you will find a collection of recipes, ideas, musings and philosophies related to families who feel a pull toward a more conscious, mindful and simpler way of life.

You don’t have to homeschool or bake your own bread daily (I do neither of those things – well actually I do homeschool now we are in lockdown!) to hang out here. At whatever stage of your journey, you are on, you are very welcome. I personally still have a long way left down my own path and find that by blogging about it, it helps to keep me on track.
