How very appropriate that my 100th post should be a Simple Meal Plan!
Also how very typical is it that I need to rush it, as I have very limited time today!
🙂
Firstly an update on my Simple Meal Plan experiment last week.
I aborted my usual online shop and headed off to the farm shop.  I am very keen to shop locally and organically, but time and convenience favours online for me. As I budget £100 per week for all my groceries this is a consideration also.
Reflecting on my experience, it worked okay, but I have done an online shop for the week coming. The main issue was taking the time out to go and do the shop, and then also having to do a further two trips to the supermarket and also ask someone else to pick a few items up for me as well.
However interestingly my actual grocery shop cost less. My total spend was about £65, but due to having three shopping trips plus lunch I wasted spent probably that amount again on other things .

There will be a No Waste Tastes Great here on Friday – but with a twist!
Please do check out my Guest Post over at Untitled Minimalism – I am sharing the Steak and Guinness Pie recipe – so very simple! A must for St Patrick’s Day!
Back tomorrow with a guest post from Gip Plaster from So Much More Life – he will be sharing his Faminimalism Story…
Anyhow…better love you and leave you as there’s a dress I need to squeeze myself into – wish me luck!

Did you get to wear your versatile dress again? 🙂
Congratulations on your 100th post! It must feel amazing to look back and realize how much writing and time that amounts to!

Hi Jo – No it was my Karen Millen LBD that comes out for cocktail parties etc… I wear it maybe twice a year and it’s always hit and miss as to whether I will still fit in it !:-)
Interestingly I have no idea how much time I have spent on blogging. It’s a hobby, a bit of stress relief so I don’t really think about the time I spend on it – I kind of get a little lost in it which is a good sign I’m enjoying it…Have Fun Jo
