I am no longer car-less, it has been fixed.
However we still walked to and from school, in the rain might I add!
It cost me hardly anything to have it fixed, just £10 that’s all for a fan belt.
I have entered into a bartering exchange. In return for the cost of the labour I will offer my services to assist setting up a blog.
Love it! Seriously love it!
I’m wondering how far I could go with this?

Good for you getting your car back Jo. And bartering, love it! I’m a huge fan of bartering instead of cash exchanges. Thanks for highlighting this!
Cheers,
Tanja

I have visions of me trying it on everywhere now though… I’ll probably start getting chucked out of places!

I don’t think my expertise at blogging would get me a crumb of a chili bhaji…now my fundraising knowldege might get me a plate or two
🙂

Would you believe I also proofread for a living! Shocking typo!

My thinking cap is on as to how and when I could barter in daily life now. Always up for a challenge!

Go with it!! Bartering!! – I am currently working on a project in exchange for car parts! Turns out the connection created a great new friendship! It really shows that by having people work together we can all move forward. What a simplistic approach!
Great Post!

Hi Bernie – Good luck with it – and do let me know what else you exchange through bartering. Just had a quick look at your blog, going back to take a closer look later… Jo
