Okay so I got my car back last Friday. I still didn’t use it that day as I had enjoyed walking.
Then on Monday it rained, so I used it to do the pick up from school and what should happen? I had a collision, well I say collision, somebody shunted me on the car-park – Hint number 1
Back to walking, not due to the damage but I got the feeling something or someone might be trying to drop a hint. And it had brightened up!
Thursday morning, went out to car. Back right window had disappeared. It had dropped down into the car door and it wouldn’t go back up – strangely enough! Back to walking again – Hint Number 2
Anyone else seen Stephen King’s ‘Christine’?
Update Friday 18th – had fixed window – or had I? Dropped down again when on my necessary car journey! Feeling a bit spooked!

Ha ha lol!
I definitely think the universe is trying to get your attention. Just sold my car; paid off two credit cards and have a nice little nest egg sitting in my bank account to finance me into my writing endeavours. So what if I look a bit geeky walking around with my icfa (indespensible car free accessory). Public transport over here (where it’s warm) is an adventure, especially if you have an iphone to navigate it. I can use buses, trains or ferries with one little zappy automatically topped up card!! Very simple and minimal.

I bet you look lovely with icfa – especially with your new hair! Oh how I wish I were wondering round Oz using their public transport!

Oh my goodness. Yes, I would say you’re definitely meant to be traveling by foot for now!

I have one short (but car necessary) journey to make today in the car – but a friend is giving me a lift later as we are taking the kids out! Not risking it – anything could happen!

I hate when things go wrong with my car. For me it’s a magical box. I put in gas, I turn the key — it should work. Anything beyond that is too much.
Here is hoping yours stops acting up soon.

Still car-less!

You better sell “Christine” fast! I wish I lived in an area that was better for a car-free lifestyle. I got in 2 accidents this year. Both while I was stopped at a red light! Sigh…. At least I can live vicariously through your car-free adventures.
Cheers,
Tanja

There are few areas in my region that suit a car free lifestyle and with the continued trend for out of town retail parks it’s getting harder – It’s annihilating local shops…
Was great to see a piccie of ‘The Honey’!

Jo!!! For someone reason the comment I just left logged me in as my honey instead of me. So it’s got Patrick’s mug and my signature. Not sure what to do about it now. Bigger sigh….
