Simply Being Mum’s Summer Memories 2014

Each year I wonder if time passes even quicker.

We are almost at the end of the summer holidays once again.

It’s only seems a few days since I posted about how we schedule the summer-holidays.

And now I’m preparing for back to school.

This time next week, we will be day two into the school-run once more.

Did we achieve all we set out to do this summer break?

Not quite, but we did plenty, and lots more than we could have anticipated. Or could have planned for.

There was the week at Callow Top, Derbyshire,  where we discovered the most adorable village and sweet shop.

And the summer holidays seem to be getting shorter each year!

Have you made lots of memories this summer?

Oooh la la, check you out with your high tea and clotted cream icecreams! Looks like you had a great summer. I don’t understand how it’s over already. It’ll be Christmas before we know it. THERE, I SAID IT!

Oh yes the ‘C’ word. Feel a blog post coming on about just that subject. And it’s not even September!

Wow – I am very impressed by how much you did! Everything looks interesting and memory-making.

Time seems to go so slowly in July and then August goes like a flash!

Thanks Jo – and the round up was the tip of the iceberg. Its good to do a summary as you realise just what you have done!
